With quite a few birthdays to celebrate, we decided to head up to Sydney for the weekend so we could celebrate them all together. It’s been 2 years since we have visited Sydney as a family, so thought it might be nice to head into town and see what’s new. We did the obligatory stops along the way to refuel and swap drivers.
We caught the Rivercat into town – public transport all the way! A lovely way to commute, particularly because the weather was on our side. Sydney had turned on its best spring weather for the occasion – blue skies, mid 20s temps, perfect!
Arriving at circular quay we dodged the Pokemon hunters and selfie sticks, making our way to the forecourt and Opera House. Great views of the harbour deserved a photo!
Off to the rocks for markets, lunch with a view at a rooftop beer garden, finishing off at Darling Harbour. Lots of walking, eating and areas to visit.
