As we are still waiting at present for take off on the house front we decided to take a trip North for a picnic. With such lovely weather it seemed a shame to waste it!
We travelled through the middle of nowhere – literally! and I got to show the kids some of the exciting towns I travel through on an average week. I don’t think they want to come with me any time soon! We climbed to the top of Bald Hill – it certainly seemed more than a hill! Continuing on to Kow Swamp (such an unfortunate name) the kids got to play on the edge of the lake and test the water – unheard of in June! For our next big adventure we headed south to Mt Tarrangower for the world trial championships. With Jemima dosed up on cold medicine, probably for the best as this made her oblivious to how bored she potentially would normally be, we rugged up and headed up the mountain. The skill and finesse of these guys is amazing! What we do while we wait….
